The new Camry, like other Toyota hybrids, will not be a plug-in hybrid. Instead, the four-cylinder engine will charge the batteries to power the electric motors. This charging system allows the Camry to achieve impressive performance, generating up to 225 horsepower in front-wheel-drive models and 232 horsepower in all-wheel-drive models.
